KORINTHIA KLEIN
Korinthia is a violin maker, writer, musician, and mother of three
living in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee. Originally from
Michigan, she has a BA degree in music from The Ohio State University
with distinction in Music Cognition. She has performed with the York
Symphony Orchestra in York, PA and the West Shore Symphony Orchestra
in Harrisburg, PA. Currently she plays viola with Milwaukee's
Festival City Symphony and mandola with the Milwaukee Mandolin
Orchestra. She has been on the faculty of the Wisconsin Conservatory
of Music since 1996. Korinthia completed a four year apprenticeship
at the New World School of Violin Making in 2000, and worked for
several years doing repairs and rehairs at Classical Strings before
opening her own shop in 2008. You can follow her adventures in

Korinthia is the co-owner and operator of Korinthian Violins. She builds violins and violas, does instrument repairs and bow rehairs, and can solve your Rubik's cube if you haven't rearranged the stickers. ROBYN SULLIVAN
Robyn started playing Suzuki violin at the age of 7 and later
switched to viola which to this day remains her string instrument of
choice. She has a BA in music from Skidmore College and also attended
and graduated from the Chicago School of Violin Making. She has
worked in a variety of shops (Frederick Oster Fine Violins, Classical
Strings, Korinthian Violins) and studied with well known violin makers
(Geoffrey Ovington, Tchu Ho Lee).

Carol Kraco is a photographer and mother of three. Her work is sold in
a variety of forms including cards, posters, and pieces produced on canvas.
Subject matter ranges from architecture and the natural world to artistic
renderings of instruments here in the store. Her work is on display in
the teaching studio at Korinthian Violins and available for sale. Contact her through
Kraco Photography if you are interested in hiring her for your
event, wedding, or need a family or group photo.

Ian is co-owner of Korinthian Violins, and handles many back office tasks.
He is also a part-time Assistant Professor of Military Science at
Marquette University, the Linux computer guru that keeps this website
running, and the often-at-home father of three.
